I do NOT support smoking at all. But everyone should get off of Nick Diaz. It is HIS life. He’s one of the REALIST fighters in the UFC. Yes it is his fault and he should know better but really he is going to do what he wants. Everyone bashing down on him isn’t going to make the situation better. I also don’t agree on how everyone is just bashing on ONE fighter, I’m pretty sure there are more than one fighter that does it. Which is a shame because you shouldn’t smoke .  It isn’t good for you ESPECIALLY being a fighter! I’am glad that UFC is doing drug testing on fighters now because it isn’t good. They know what they are getting into when they sign the contract and they know that their are consequences if they brake the rules. The fighters choose if they want to follow the rules or not. I’m not trying to be rude about the situation but seeing this everywhere it’s just like “come on” you know? It is big news yes but he knew what he was getting into. I’m just telling it like it is. This is MY OPINION on this whole situation.  ✭SheLbyGast

I think the reason people are bashing him is because he is not showing the will power it takes to be a professional athlete.  He has been crying about not getting a legit chance and smoking weed at the same time.  Did he really want the opportunity or did he just want to make a lot of noise.  If one really wants something then they do what ever they have to do to get there.  Just look at it like this - Look at how many people have to take drug test for a job paying $7.25 an hr.  I am not sure how much he is getting paid but I am sure it is a much more than that.  He has to at least be in the $100,000’s - If that can’t make you stop smoking weed - as bad as people are doing at this day and time - then that does not speak very highly about his will power and it calls into question his true motivations.  He is cool with me too but if you are going to put yourself out there like he does - you better be doing the things to back it up - other than that he looks like he is just selling wolf tickets.  I hope he uses this as motivation to do great things in the future.
